We’ve only just noticed spring has begun and the sun is shining. Why is that? I hear you ask. Well, here at Transmission HQ we have been locked away with hundreds and hundreds of short stories. We’ve been reading and re-reading, deliberating, debating (and sometimes arguing in very childish ways when it was past our bedtimes). But today we staggered out into the sunshine with a list of stories, narrowed down from nearly 400 submissions! They are now being sent to illustrators so they can work their magic.

If you submitted to Transmission #08, you should have received an email informing you of whether or not you are going to be published. Don’t lose heart if you didn’t make the cut this time as the competition was particularly fierce.
